Watch Some Middle Schoolers Celebrate After Finding Out They Get To See Black Panther

People usually get excited to see Marvel movies and Black Panther is certainly no exception. So far, Black Panther has the fastest pre-ticket sales of any superhero movie and is sold out to the point that even Lupita Nyong'o had trouble finding tickets and she's IN the movie! People are hyped, but maybe none so more than a group of students who learned that their school was taking them all to see Black Panther. Their reaction to the news was filmed by staff, and they were so happy that they were dancing on tables. Check it out, below.

At the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia, students were surprised by the news that they would all be attending a showing of Black Panther together. The Marvel movie will be married to a curriculum where students will use the comic books to learn about African culture, historical lessons, and African dancing. The lesson will culminate in the students getting to see Black Panther in theaters, news that went over extremely well with the student body.

After the students were told the news, they erupted into a chorus of cheers, hugging, and dancing. It's extremely fun! One kid was even playing the drum to celebrate. It's really awesome to see kids reacting with such joy to see a movie, which could hint at how big a film Black Panther really is.

These kids haven't been the only ones being treated to a showing of Black Panther. Octavia Spencer is buying out a theater to send families and kids in an "unserved community" in Mississippi. Another man created a Go Fund Me campaign to send 300 kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem to a Black Panther screening, which raised $30,000 at three times its goal. People are making a great effort to make sure Black Panther gets in front of as many eyes as possible so that kids of color can see themselves represented on the big screen.

The film is directed by Ryan Coogler and stars Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa, who must balance his new responsibilities as the king of Wakanda with his duties as Black Panther, all while old enemies return to usurp the throne. Black Panther is tracking for a massive opening weekend in which it could earn as much as $150 million domestically. Critics have praised the movie, with some going as far as to say that it's one of Marvel's best ever.

The students of Ron Clark Academy (and the rest of us) will be able to see Black Panther when it arrives in theaters on February 16, 2018. To learn more about the movie, here's everything we know so far about Marvel's Black Panther.
